ASI's open door policy means that it requests that employees report concerns one may have about unethical behavior and that one is aware that they have several options for reporting such concerns. Employees may report such concerns with their supervisor, or an ASI officer, who may advise counsel from our outside legal counsel or auditors or speak directly with the chairman of our audit committee.

The Sarbanes-Oxley Act also mandates that employees can report concerns without fear of retaliation from management. When engaged in a protected act of "whistleblowing," an employee cannot be discharged, demoted, suspended, threatened, harassed or in any other manner discriminated against in the terms and conditions of employment. ASI fosters an environment free from retaliation against an employee who may speak out concerning unethical behavior.
